Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Last night James decided he was going travel around the world. He packed a grocery sack full of the things he thought he would need. He even packed paper clips because he heard that they were good for trading. Apparently in India the folks will trade you a bar of gold for one paper clip. Who knew that paper clips were in such demand in India? He got busy playing Legos and later he came to me and said,. You know, just in case it slipped his mind.

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Kinley lost her first tooth! She already has another one loose as well. Kinley spent a week going to gymnastics camp and loved it! We al.

Just a sampling of our life in Texas. it is never dull, never the same and full of love and laughter. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. December 3rd to be exact. Tomorrow will mark the 3 week countdown to Christmas. As I am trying to fill our family calendar with wonderful holiday memories, I am struck with the overwhelming sense of urgency to double and triple check that Ely knows what Christmas is really. So, we will be more intentional each day to bring it all back to Christ.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Anna June is getting to be a seasoned traveler. Although our last trip was to the beach in May, when we drove, we traveled to Wisconsin by air and she handled it like a pro. She passed away on July 29th at the age of 92. I should have a full post soon. This is our perpetual packing list. Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
